Carolee Boger (Palmiotto)
Nice to be back in touch!
The past 50 years in 2000 characters or fewer? Here goes! After high school, I graduated from Montclair State with a BA in Speech and Theater Arts/Education. I appeared in an off-Off Broadway show, but soon decided I needed a steady income. My first real job was working for the New York Foundation for the Arts as a Program Director for Arts-in-Education Programs. In 1991, I became a paralegal and worked in environmental insurance defense. I also had the good fortune to become a member of the adjunct faculty for the Paralegal Studies Program at Fairleigh Dickinson University. In between, I attended Rutgers University Newark for a Master of Arts in Liberal Studies; however, family and work responsibilities required I put it on hold with just two more classes to go. I retired in October, 2017. (Yay!) I volunteer as an Elder in my church and as a member of the Montclair Township Advisory Committee for People with Disabilities.

My first marriage resulted in my wonderful, brilliant son, Chris Pescatore (age 34) who works in NYC as a JAVA Program Developer. My effervescent Mom just celebrated her 91st birthday and has lived in the same house in Dumont since 1959. For the past 27 years I have been married to The Rev. Dr. Paul O. Boger, Sr. (a man of great humor and greater integrity). He is also the coolest guy I know, having been on the staff Woodstock in 1969 as a pastor/counselor. (Read his book: Being There, A Pastor at Woodstock Then, Now and Tomorrow.) Paul and I are working on our bucket lists, and have recently traveled to Israel, Sicily (where I met many relatives!) and Cancun.

Looking forward to seeing everyone!
