Nice to be in touch again!

Helping to organize this reunion has been great fun for me.  I loved my high school years and can't wait to see my classmates again. Even though I live nearby, I'm planning to stay overnight at the Hilton to extend the fun. I hope to see you there!

Can't wait to see you.

50 Years has gone by in a flash.  Can't wait to see all of you again and get re-aquainted.  I'm sure we will have a great time remembering our High School days.  So glad that I joined the committee to help make this happen

A fond "HELLO" to all.  I truly followed my dream and graduated nursing school and worked for 40 years. I married Craig Brewer in 1971 and we have one son, one daughter, one son-in-law and four grandchildren. Our lives have been very full and active with lots of travel. Craig retired from the USAF in 1992 and after I retired we moved to the southern coast of North Carolina where we live today. Unfortunately we will not be able to attend as we have a family wedding in Charlotte,NC the same weekend. I wish everyone attending a really fun time!!!  Chris Klepacki Brewer

Thank You

what a spectacular job the organizers did! And the reasons for my many fond memories of DHS were reininforced by everyone I had the pleasure of speaking with - I was surrounded by friendly, welcoming people.

Best wishes to all!

Fantastic Reunion!

Our 50th reunion this weekend was nothing short of spectacular! Thank you to the committee who outdid themselves despite the hotel setback! I cannot express what a joy it was to connect with everyone again! You are a special group of people who I am proud to call friends. Stay healthy and let’s really stay in touch!

Thank you!

Thanks to Andrea, Linda, Marianne and the Kathys we were all able to have a wonderful time reuniting, remembering and recounting the events of not only DHS - but Honiss, Grant, Lincoln, Selzer, and St Mary's schools! There's not enough thanks to you all...I am very greatful!

New Old Friends

I echo the sentiments already expressed by our classmates regarding the event.  It was wonderfully planned and delivered...despite the injection of a little 1968 chaos.  But what the heck..."We Didn't Start the Fire"...right???

While I was thrilled to see the old friends I used to hang around with, I was also really happy to enjoy the company of those who were NOT my close friends during high schood.  I discovered new...old friends who instantly understood what it meant to grow up in my home town.  Great people all...with a life experience you can't find anywhere else on the planet.

Enduring Friendships

Settling back home Monday, I thought Saturday night was another night to remember, like graduation night. Outsiders have noted, and we agree, that our class was, and is, an especially close group, and it seemed to me the 60 of us at the reunion bonded in a nanosecond, as if 50 years hadn’t passed. I talked with as many as I could, more than half, and while talking, I saw brightness in the eyes and beauty on the faces of every one. In our classmates I saw enduring friendship and trust!

Dumont

What a great day tour of Dumnt High then our  reunion. Let's do it again in 5 years and consider a lunch over a dinner gives us more time to relax and not have to drive at night (does that mean I'm old?)

Great time great class great school mates

Cheers
